Our passionate team of Certified Nursing Assistants, Personal Care Providers and administrative staff have one shared goal: to improve the quality of life for those who would like to remain in the comfort of their own home or need additional one on one care.

That’s why our team is carefully vetted and hired based on experience, personality and professional references. About Suzanne Karp
Suzanne was born in Southington, Connecticut and currently resides with her husband and two Shih Tzu’s in New London, Connecticut. In 2010, she started Care At Home, a non-medical home care company that assists seniors to remain in the safety and comfort of their own home. Care At Home has grown significantly in just a few years and now employs over 90 people. As a former engaged life director at a national assisted care facility for seniors, and as a Conservator for the State of Connecticut, she quickly learned that she loved caring for her seniors (my “Peeps”).
They brought as much joy into her life as she did to theirs. In the Fall of 2016, Suzanne was instrumental in creating the Southeast Senior Network which consists of over 50 professionals in the senior care industry. As a member of the Leadership Team, Suzanne conducts the monthly meetings at various locations throughout Southeastern Connecticut.
Her experience as a Conservator for the Probate Courts has lead her to meet and work with various organizations and discover resources as she helps many people in different stages of their life. All of her experience has lead her to a point in life in which she understands what seniors need, and how she can maintain or increase their quality of life. All of this has earned her the reputation of being referred to as the “Senior Whisperer”.
Valerie’s motto and favorite saying is: “Impact is not created by big budgets, impact is created by innovative marketing ideas!”
Valerie is a Registered Nurse and the author of three books, Aging Answers (2003), The Senior Solution (2007) and Priceless Caregiving (2009). Her adventure in internet marketing began as a self-promotion experiment and ended up becoming a full time marketing consulting business for the elder care market.
Valerie has appeared on national television (Today Show), has hosted her own local radio show, and has been interviewed for dozens of publications and radio shows across the country regarding her business and the business of elder care.
She fast became the foremost authority in driving sales via the internet, seminars, and e-mail for senior service providers and elder care entrepreneurs.While Valerie’s best known for her expertise in marketing, her students share that her biggest impact comes from her ability to make things happen quickly, even on a small budget.
