I did a little old-school experiment this evening with video. I made a few videos (easy stuff) for a couple of clients in competitive territories this evening.

  • One client serves Jupiter Florida and Palm Beach Florida.
  • One client serves Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas.

For the Florida client, I made two short videos. No words, just music and text.

Both videos ranked for “How Do I Choose Home Care in (Jupiter) Palm Beach FL” within 15 minutes on the first page of Google.

But there is more to this story. If I really want good results from this video, many things have to happen. 

#1: It must be posted on their website as a blog post.

#2: If must then be automatically posted to all of their social media accounts.

#3: I recommend that once this video hits Facebook, that the post be boosted for 3 days (for $30) to the local Palm Beach area.

#4: I would consider also posting the video directly from YouTube.com in about a week, and boosting that post too, so that the video gets more “views”.

#5: This video is going to also end up in their monthly newsletter, which is super awesome for engagement.
