Ahhhh, the air is ripe with CEOs signing contracts based on promises of online performance that will never come to fruition.
The pitchman wins again. He will collect his money, and a year from now (ok maybe 2 years) the pitchman’s company will be fired because of too many complaints from the local franchise owners.
I wish I could get all of the home care franchise CEOs in one room for let’s say 2 hours. In that 2 hours I would tell them exactly what to look for in a company that provides web design, SEO, content, and more for home care agencies on main street, USA.
I would also tell them what works better from the franchisee end. What REALLY works.
Wait….is this because I want them to hire my company and only my company? Nope. Not even close.
I just hate a rip-off.
I dislike the fact that there are gazillions of so-called SEO companies (that really want to do PPC more than anything) who pitch a solution that MIGHT work for plumbers, or Dunkin’ Donuts, but will NEVER work in the home care market.
Having worked in the home care market for as long as we have, we know the issues that home care agency owners face. (I would be crazy to list them all here). Those issues have to be considered when creating a website, when creating an SEO plan that actually DRIVES REAL BUSINESS.
So my dear CEOs since I cannot get you all in one room, here’s my advice…take SOMEONE’S advice who works in home care, not in PPC, not in SEO alone.
Find a consultant who understands both and can put you and your franchise owners on the right path. Until then, it’s a waste of everyone’s time and money.
Just because an “SEO” company is big, doesn’t mean they are right, not in the home care market anyway. Trust me on this- my earlier prediction will happen every. single. time. Here is is again:
